CAREFREE CONDOMINIUM LIFESTYLE:
The carefree condominium lifestyle is the true difference between owning a
condominium OR a single family home. Owning a condominium allows you to enjoy all the
benefits of a fine home, with the added benefits of common facilities and amenities.
Keep in mind however, that your way of life changes when purchasing a condominium and some restrictions
(guests, pets, children...) or limitations (parking, lawn
parties, resale...) may apply. That's why
it is important to review the rules, regulations and by-laws of the condo association.
Do you like to share? If yes, you are in the right place.
A new condo buyer needs to know that low maintenance obligations and
security are offset by monthly assessment fees and adherence to the
association's regulations.

How to find out if a condominium community is the right match for you?
Go talk to your future neighbors face to face or to the members of the association. It's best to select a condominium where the association is willing to "partner"
with its members, rather than one that leaves the residents to their own devices. Buyers must understand their own priorities to be most satisfied with their home purchase.
Prior to buying, find out more about the condominium's management structure, including the board of directors and day-to-day manager.
It is always recommended to call the association president and ask questions about the role, objectives and financial situation of the association,
including recent assessment charges, actual reserves for major improvements and repairs, annual operating expenses covered by the monthly assessment fees, etc... Same applies if the condominium is professionally managed by a third party.
